Contacts
The people you email, one per address, with a stage, a company and their whole history.
A contact is a person: an email address, a name and title, optionally the company they work at, and everything you've ever sent them.
Add a contact
Click Add contact on the Contacts page, or add people while creating a company. Every contact needs an email address, and an address can only belong to one contact in the workspace. Adding one that exists shows you the existing contact instead.

Stages

Pedibee only ever moves people forward on its own: to Contacted when emailed, to Replied when you record a reply. Opens and clicks never change a stage.
No inbox access, so no automatic reply detection
Pedibee only has permission to send from your Gmail, never to read it. When someone replies, mark them Replied (from the contact panel, or on the email in their activity). That stops any sequence they're in.
The contact panel
Open a contact to see:
- Details: fields, company, custom fields, lists they're in.
- Activity: every touch, newest first: the email's subject, where it came from (a campaign, a sequence step, a one-off email, an automation, or logged by hand), and whether it was opened, clicked or replied to. Opening a sent email here never counts as an open.
- Email: send them a one-off email from your Gmail, or log a call, LinkedIn message, WhatsApp, SMS, meeting or anything else that happened outside Pedibee.
Each touch can be marked seen or replied, and hand-logged ones can be edited or removed.
The contact list
Filter by search, stage, company, list, whether they have a company, when they were last contacted, engagement, when they were added, follow-up, and verification status. Each row shows their touches, emails, last subject, and whether they opened, clicked or replied.
Tick contacts to delete them in bulk, or add them to a list.
Email verification
If verification is switched on, each contact's address is checked in the background and shown as Valid, Risky, Unknown or Invalid, with the reason. Campaigns and sequences skip invalid addresses. See Email verification.
