Incoming webhooks
Turn any app's webhook into events, without code.
An incoming webhook is a secret URL. Paste it into any app that can send a webhook, and every POST becomes an event.
- Automations → Connect tools → New webhook.
- Choose what it receives:
- Any JSON — we capture the first request as a sample, then you map it.
- Pedibee event format — the body is one event (or
{ "events": [...] }), like the API. Flat fields work too: sendnameandemail, and every other field (plan, company…) becomes a detail you can use as{{event.plan}}. Good for Zapier, Make and forms.
- Copy the URL. It's shown once; anyone with it can send events. New URL makes another and the old one stops working.
- For Any JSON: send one request from your app, then pick which field is the email (or your user id), give the event name (or read it from a field), and choose the properties. Try it on the sample shows the events it would make. Paths reach into nested JSON, like
form_response.answers.0.email; a list path makes one event per item.
Recent requests shows the last 100 (kept 14 days), each with what happened: recorded, no email found, or refused and why.
Requests are JSON, up to 256 KB, and up to 20 a second per webhook. Turn Create contacts off to ignore people you don't already have.
